Theoretical & practical knowledge
3 degrees of remote support
The analysis of your swimming style that I’ll carry out by watching your videos will help you to understand your current style. It’s a good idea to do this analysis after taking a theory course on swimming technique. It will help you to understand and objectively evaluate your level of technical mastery so that you can assess your future progress.
Technical report of the points to work on
Prerequisites: provide your videos
Swimming technique is learned by repeating exercises that break down swimming technique into ‘simple skills’ and then mastering ‘complex skills’. I’ve developed progressive exercises that gradually help you to master and feel your swimming technique.

Masterclasses’ are conferences (in your club) or videoconferences (online) on various subjects relating to monofin or bifins swimming technique for beginners or experts.
Topics developed in videoconferences will be regularly proposed to interest you. It is also possible to respond to your needs and develop one or more subjects that interest you: what are the prerequisites for entering the activity of swimming with a monofin in apnea, what fundamental knowledge is essential to know, how to implement it during training in order to be able to effectively develop your mastery of the monofin swimming technique (bifins/monofins), what do you need to understand about DYN (dynamic) or CWT (constant weight) with bifins/monofin etc?
The conference format is 1 to 2 hours online and can be customised to suit your needs. It is also possible to organise a videoconference with just one person to personalise the knowledge that will be shared.
I was privileged to be chosen by AIDA to write the AIDA MONOFIN SERIE manuals and to be able to offer my learning concept, which enables freedivers to improve their understanding and practice of swimming with a monofin.
Several AIDA courses are available face-to-face (see the menu opposite).
For the online AIDA Monofins Instructor course, which enables you to teach the different levels of the AIDA MONOFIN SERIE course (Monofin freediver, Advanced monofin freediver and Master monofin freediver), you don’t need to be a monofin champion yourself. However, you will need to understand the theory of monofin swimming and the technical principles that must be respected. In addition to the theoretical knowledge you will gain in this course, you will discover a ‘progressive’ learning concept that will enable you to approach your teaching effectively with a whole range of exercises for your students. At the end of this course, you’ll have all the tools you need to observe a swimmer’s style, identify their faults and correct their monofin swimming technique.
